From the North side of Chicago, E.J. was a young man in the early to mid 1960’s when the “electric blues explosion” was happening in Chicago. E.J. started blowing harp and singing the blues way back then!!! His band was opening for acts like Wilson Picket (Mustang Sally, Midnight Hour), Jerry Lee Lewis (Great Balls of Fire), and sharing stages with Jay and The Americans, Rufus, Styx, and Three Dog Night. E.J. took a couple of decades off from the professional music scene to raise a family but continued to blow harp and sing the blues for all of those years. Forward to the mid 2000’s—E.J. relocated from Chicago to Ft. Myers and began to entertain folks again, singing and playing like he did 50 years ago!!!
